Circuit Control Stop Machine Torch Mount
The Circuit Control Stop Plasma Torch Protection System is unique! If the plasma torch comes into contact with anything such as a tilt up, foreign object or falls through a cut hole or even if your omic sensor/arc or voltage floating torch riser doesn’t work correctly and the plasma torch drags across the material to be cut the sensor in the torch holder will send a fault signal.
Wired correctly this fault signal will immediately shut off the plasma arc as well as stop all gantry movement protecting your plasma torch.
If a severe crash/collision were to occur the Circuit Control Stop Plasma Torch Protection System will send the fault signal but will also pivot out of the direction of torch travel protecting the plasma torch at the exact moment of contact. Once the problem is corrected, you merely return the plasma torch to its normal vertical position and the internal micro switch resets itself. You’re ready to go it’s that simple!
The Circuit Control Stop Plasma Torch Protection System’s internal micro switch is shipped prewired both normally open and closed so that it is compatible with any manufacturers plasma arc start/on system control.
As most manufacturer’s CNC gantry control stops all gantry movement in the event of lost arc. In the last few years most all plasma power source manufacturers that ship their power sources with a machine torch have CNC interface built in. Most offer it as an option that can also be ordered and field installed. This makes the control stop electrical hookup quite simple.
We have supplied the Circuit Control Stop Plasma Torch Protection System to most of the major CNC cutting tables built and have the experience to help the end user with their installation.

The plasma torch outer holding clamp has the gear rack slot machined into it which allows you to use a plasma machine torch with or without the gear rack attached.
Another great feature that you won’t find on any plasma torch protection at this price is that all of our Plasma Torch Protection Systems allow you to bevel cut.
Each holder is machined with a twin hardened ball and socket assembly that allows you to swing and lock the plasma torch into place for 15, 30 and 45-degree bevel cutting in both right and left directions in relation to the Y travel enabling you to bevel cut plate in the X long access travel. The plasma Torch Protection System works great with floating torch riser systems found on some CNC cutting tables.
All units are shipped with a universal mounting plate for mounting to most all plasma torch risers. It is a direct mount to Dynatorch, Velox Z axis and others. We offer adapters for Precision Plasma, PlasmaCam, Samson, GoTorch, BurnTable and others.
We do manufacture and offer adapters for a few of the CNC cutting tables that come from the factory with their torch holder built as part of the riser assembly such as Torchmate.

Universal mounting Circuit Control Stop Plasma Torch Protection System: This unit will allow mounting to just about any entry level and up CNC cutting table. We have sent the UN-1 to customers that have installed it on Heath, Linde, Esab, Koike, Burn tables and many others. A simple two bolt mounting makes this so very easy to install. Comes with 18 feet of control cable installed with simple electrical wiring instructions.
Plasma Cam: This is a direct bolt onto PlasmaCam/ Samson with DHC-2 using a machine torch. The circuit control stop wires into your plasma power source arc start signal circuit interface. The Circuit Control Stop will increase your Y axis home/zero point a little, you may need to change your cutter location adjustment in settings section on your computer to reflect the new Y axis point.
Torchmate Models 1 ,2 and 3 equipped with Arc voltage height control (AVHC): This unit is shipped complete with all parts needed to install the circuit stop on your Torchmate riser assembly along with basic instructions for riser installation. We also offer a replacement fast travel nut used on the torch riser part number FTA 38-10. Note very early Torchmate without AVHC will use the universal circuit control stop part number UN-1.
The Circuit Control Stop Plasma Torch Protection System will change your X axis zero/home point as it places the plasma torch a little further forward. You simply need to reset your program zero location. Instructions are included.
Dynatorch: This is a direct bolt onto the Dynatorch riser with the aluminum body with enclosed riser screw as well as the early open riser screw with the external V wheels mounted on the side rails. This unit will plug directly into the unused D port of your Y axis motor and with a simple programing change its ready to go.
The Circuit control will change your X axis zero/home point as it places the plasma torch a little further forward. You simply need to reset your program zero location, a very simple programing change.
Note, the DT-1 will only work with Dynatorch CNC equipped with Animatics smart motors.
